ORLANDO, Fla. — The Wheel at Orlando’s ICON Park has upgraded the technology in the capsules to enhance the visitor experience.

Each of The Wheel’s 30 capsules now have a Bluetooth feature that lets visitors to connect their mobile phones to the capsule’s sound system, allowing them to listen to their own music.
The upgrade also includes new onboard media players and upgraded audio controls. There’s also an option for visitors to listen to a tour of Orlando’s new and old sights. The audio tour is timed to The Wheel’s rotation.
“I like to say that being in a capsule on The Wheel is like gliding in your private comfortable air-conditioned skybox, and now that experience will be personalized even more for our guests,” ICON Park president and CEO Chris Jaskiewicz said in a statement. “We listened to guests and learned that this is what is needed in Central Florida — be current with technology and let guests play their own music.”
ICON Park is located on International Drive and features restaurants and a number of attractions, including Madame Tussauds Orlando, Museum of Illusions and SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium.
