ORLANDO, Fla. – Ahead of the official debut of its new Jurassic World VelociCoaster, Universal Orlando is giving its seasonal tribute store a dinosaur makeover.

​The new Jurassic World Tribute Store will open at Universal Studios Florida on May 27, Universal announced Wednesday. Universal released pictures and a video showing off the inside of the new store.

The store will be inspired by the hit movie franchise and feature three themed rooms filled with merchandise and other exclusive items.

Inside the Control Room, visitors will find a recreation of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster control as well as merchandise inspired by the new attraction. The Raptor Paddock will feature dinosaur-themed items and tropical-themed items like tie-dye hoodies and beach hats. And over in the Lab, visitors will find props used in the original “Jurassic Park” films.

In addition to merchandise, the store will have food and beverage items, including VelociCoaster s’mores and cupcakes, chocolate dinosaur eggs and “dig-in” dessert jar filled with chocolate cake.

The store will also feature merchandise from the animate series “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.”

In the past, Universal has opened tribute store for events such as Halloween Horror Nights and Mardi Gras.

Meanwhile, Jurassic World VelociCoaster officially opens to the public at Islands of Adventure on June 10.
