ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration is set to begin this weekend.

Ahead of the official kick off of “Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnaval,” Universal has shared a sneak peek inside this year’s Mardi Gras Tribute Store.
A brief walkthrough video released Thursday on the official Universal Orlando Resort YouTube channel show the different themed rooms featured in the store. Each room will be stocked with new merchandise and feature its own unique décor. One room will featured themed treats.
While this year’s event won’t include a concert series or the traditional parade, there will still be live entertainment for visitors to enjoy. Street entertainers will perform and parade floats will be on display throughout the park.
This year’s event will also feature cuisine inspired by various locations, including Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Germany, Spain and New Orleans.
Universal’s Mardi Gras celebration runs February 6 through March 8.
