ORLANDO, Fla. -- Disney World's new gondola system, Disney Skyliner, has reached another milestone.
- Disney Skyliner gondolas recently underwent test runs
- The gondolas traveled back-and-forth between stations
- Disney Skyliner is set to open sometime this fall
The first set of gondolas set to carry passengers later this year recently underwent a test-run across Victory Way, according to a Disney Parks Blog post.
The gondolas traveled between the stations at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Hollywood Studios. More gondolas are expected to be added to and cycled through the line soon.
Disney first began testing the new transportation system late last month. Once complete, Disney Skyliner will connect Epcot and Hollywood Studios to four nearby resorts.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
