BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Brevard County Mosquito Control has extended overnight aerial spraying through Friday, Nov. 8, to help prevent the spread and reduce mosquito levels.

The county, in partnership with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, scheduled FEMA-funded spraying between Nov. 3 and Nov. 5, but has since extended that time frame.

Aircraft will spray all mainland areas west of I-95, all areas north of StateRoad 46, and all areas north of State Road 520 on Merritt Island.

Brevard County Mosquito Control has already conducted 100,000 acres of countywide mosquito treatments by ground and air since Hurricane Milton impacted Brevard County.
