LOS ANGELES — Fire victims in need of food can visit Los Angeles City College Wednesday for a free food distribution event hosted by Supervisor Hilda Solis.

The East Hollywood Food Distribution event, supported by the LA Regional Food Bank and LA City College, starts at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

It is for those communities affected by the destructive wildfires in Southern California in January, but specifically for those in the East Hollywood area.

There will be boxes of non-perishable items, fresh produce, face masks and diapers available. There will also be a resource fair with county departments on site.

Food will be distributed in a walk-up style setup and on a first-come, first-served basis. It is scheduled to end at noon on Wednesday.
