ORLANDO, Fla. — Magic forward Jonathan Isaac is listed as questionable on the injury list for Orlando's home game against the Celtics on Monday night, meaning he could make his return to an NBA court for the first time in more than 900 days.

His status is an upgrade from last week. Isaac had been listed as "out, due to return to competition reconditioning" since being recalled from the G League Lakeland Magic on Friday, and reconditioning is still listed as the reason for him being questionable. However, the upgrade to a "questionable" status raises the possibility he could take the court.

The Magic have not commented on his possible return. They have not, however, denied published reports that he might get on the court at Amway Center on Monday night.

If he does play tonight, the Magic will likely limit his minutes on the court because they usually do so when bringing a player back from injury.

Isaac made his return to professional basketball on Jan. 11 with the Lakeland Magic after not playing in 892 days because of injury. He played in three games there, averaging 15.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots in 17.7 minutes per game.

Orlando assigned Isaac to Lakeland to get him some in-game playing time to see how his body responded to that activity. Prior to that, he had been scrimmaging full-court, 5-on-5, for a few weeks.
