ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Magic on Thursday unveiled a new “Statement Edition” uniform for the upcoming season that features a “modern twist on a Magic classic, stars and pinstripes.”
The uniforms are the team’s primary blue color with black pinstripes, and a black star pattern cascades along the sides, paying homage to the uniforms from 1998-2003.
The uniform will be worn by the players for the first time during Orlando’s regular-season home-opener against the Boston Celtics on Oct. 22. In all, players will don the uniform in 10 home games during the upcoming season.
In all, Orlando has four uniforms in its collection for the 2022-23 season. The City Edition jersey for this year has not been revealed yet. It also has Icon and Association uniforms.
