ORLANDO, FL -- Marc Skinner was hired to change the culture for the Orlando Pride.

Through six matches, the culture change has shown promise but the results haven't followed suit.

The Pride are winless through the first quarter of the season despite boosting one of the league's most talented rosters.

Despite the slow start, Skinner still carries the same optimism he had the day he was introduced as the second coach in team history.

“I envisioned building an empire," Skinner said. "It became something that was bigger than the moment. I don’t think we have many moments in our life where you kind of have an out of body experience where you go ‘wow’.”

In a one-on-one with Luke Hetrick, Skinner talks the team's struggles, World Cup and future of the Pride.

Orlando returns to action on the road at Utah Saturday night at 8.
