You and your family can experience the luxury of resort life without having to book a room.

1. More and more properties, like Coco Key Water Park Resort, are offering a Resort Pool Day Pass. This means, for a small fee, you can get full access to pools and amenities once available only to hotel guests.

2. Frank Dolley is Coco Key Water Park Resort’s General Manager. “It’s an amazing opportunity for locals to really come out and enjoy many different resorts, and we happen to be one of them, where guests can come out and enjoy all the amenities the resort has to offer,” he said.

3. Amenities includes access to the bars and pools — even specialty-themed luau nights. Coco Key says day pass prices vary, starting as low as $20 per person.

4. The Hilton Orlando is just a few miles away. I’s also a Resort Pool Pass participant. We ran into a family from Winter Park, wearing special “pool pass” wristbands. “(It’s) something my wife found out about,” said Gregory Golden. “This is actually the first time, but we’ll probably try it again! It has been a lot of fun.”

5. The Resort Pool Pass has nearly 1,500 hotels participating around the world, including several on I-Drive and in the Disney area.
