Playing more than seven shows in four days this weekend, the show features some of the movies' most beloved characters.

Tiffany Bearangers showed the tricks she’ll be performing on the ice, and explained why the Central Florida tour stop holds a special place in her heart.

Bearangers is originally from Orlando, and she showed off her moves at RDV Sportsplex. There, she remembered her days long ago when she first started to skate.

“When I was 4 years old, I discovered my dad’s speed skates, and I decided to go one day to skating and he took me one day to the rink, and loved it the minute I stepped on the ice,” she said.

The professional figure skater is a former University of Central Florida student and is a member of the Central Florida Figure Skating Club.

Eventually, she left The City Beautiful to grow in her craft, but just couldn’t let it go. Now this 20-something skater is back and performing for an iconic brand.

She plays cousin Delores from the hit Disney movie "Encanto" as the character gifted with the power of enhanced hearing — she can hear even the quietest noise.

“There’s usually a lot of kids singing and screaming and dancing and having the time of their lives,” she said.

She explains the delicate process of transforming Delores from the big screen to a live show in ice.

“Once we get comfortable with our character, and being able to portray them, you know, in a way that, you know, we see them in the movies, we can kind organically work together and really create special moments,” Bearangers said.

Special to her are not only the little faces in the crowd, but the venue for this weekend’s shows.

“Living in Orlando, I’ve had the opportunity to see the Disney on Ice shows and concerts at the Amway Center, but this will be my first time to actually see what it’s like to be behind the scenes at the Amway Center, rather than in the seats," she said. "And it think that’s a really full circle moment as well."

Bearangers and many other talented performers can be seen all weekend long at the Amway Center, where audiences will journey into the magic of Disney. For ticket information go to www.disneyonice.com
