ORLANDO, Fla. — The Festival of Trees puts some of the most elaborate Christmas trees you've ever seen on display, with a new theme and glamorous style to help kick off the holiday season every year.
- Carmen Dick is a “seasoned” designer for the annual Festival of Trees, now in its 35th year. “This isn't my first rodeo,” she smiles, having done it for eight years now.
- The Festival features nearly 40 over-the-top themed trees from some of Central Florida's most talented creators. It's taking place at the Orlando Museum of Art.
- Carmen's tree is particularly special this year. She's honoring the health heroes at Orlando Health and says the tree will find its home at the hospital once the festival has ended.
- The Festival of Trees runs through this Sunday, Nov. 21. It's open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, with a few special events peppered throughout the nine-day event.
- All proceeds benefit the Orlando Museum of Art.
