Work is set to begin on one of the upcoming attractions at Walt Disney World.

The documents filed with Orange County signal the start of site preparation for the Tron coaster at Magic Kingdom.
The notice of commencement was filed last month for MK-2, the reported code name for the Tron project.
Whiting-Turner Contracting Co., which has an office in Orlando, will oversee construction.
The attraction is expected to open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021, although an official opening date has not been announced.
The long-rumored Tron coaster was confirmed at Disney’s D23 Expo in July.
Since then, not much has been released about the project.
Permits filed last fall revealed where the attraction would be located in the park’s Tomorrowland area. It will be built next to Space Mountain—behind Tomorrowland Speedway—and resemble the one in Shanghai Disneyland.
Disney is currently working on several projects for its Orlando theme parks, including the new Disney Skyliner gondola system, Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and a Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Epcot.
