LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A line of severe storms swept through the commonwealth Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, bringing multiple Tornado Warnings and knocking out power for thousands.
Heavy rain, which could cause life-threatening flooding, is expected through the weekend. Areas close to the Ohio River could see up to 10 inches or more. More severe storms are also possible. Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky., declared a state of emergency.
