FLORIDA — The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is opening an Alligator Super Hunt between Aug. 15 and Dec. 31.

The 2025 application period will run May 2 through June 2. Applicants can pay $5 for each application and can apply multiple times during the application period to increase their chances of their names being drawn. However, applicants may only receive one Alligator Super Hunt permit per year.

FWC said it will randomly draw the permits and establish the annual amount.

FWC said hunters may only harvest up to two alligators per permit at most legally accessible alligator management units.

There are 17 alligator management units excluded from the Super Hunt. View the list of AMUs included in the Alligator Super Hunt.
