AKRON, Ohio — Friday was, of course, a day to celebrate love, and the Akron Municipal Court was allowing to couples to do so with off-site weddings.

Valentines were able to invite their friends and family to join them as they got married at the Akron Civic Theater.

Appointments for off-site weddings are a first come first served basis through March.

Other locations for ceremonies include the Akron Art Museum and the Towpath Tennis Center.

This year’s Valentine’s Day weddings were officiated by Judge Ron Cable and Judge Jon Oldham.
