ORLANDO, Fla. — It's starting to look and sound a lot like Christmas — from downtown decorations to concerts to theatrical performances to special celebrations throughout Central Florida. There are plenty of options for family activities. Some activities are free, and others require tickets. Check out our event guide below. We'll be adding to it as the season goes on:
Flagler County
- Fantasy Lights Festival

Fantasy Lights Festival presented by the Rotary Club of Flagler County. The event series, presented by the Rotary Club of Flagler County, includes 55 light displays along the corridor of Central Park nightly, a Santa’s Village train ride for children and various entertainment and food options on select nights. Snow is in the forecast many nights. The event is free, but donations are welcome. - Palm Coast Holiday Boat Parade

The parade, which sponsor Palm Coast Yacht Club calls the largest lighted boat parade in Florida, featured 91 decorated vessels last year. It will begin at Cochise Waterway, Palm Coast’s northern cut to the Intracoastal Waterway, and head south. The parade will pass the Cimarron and Club House Waterways and sail under the Hammock Dunes Toll Bridge past St. Joe Walkway and Waterfront Park. Boats will turn at the Gazebo in Grand Haven and return to their home ports. Parking is available at the Palm Coast Community Center (305 Palm Coast Parkway NE), where Flagler County buses will shuttle viewers to and from The European Village, where parking continues to be available as well as at the Waterfront Park. The city of Palm Coast has canceled the parade because severe weather conditions anticipated for Saturday pose a risk to the safety of both participants and spectators. Scheduling an alternative date that accommodates everyone involved so close to Christmas posed significant challenges, officials said.

The official tree lighting will bring holiday music and cheer to downtown Clermont. - Better Together Holiday Luncheon

The nonprofit dedicated to families and children is hosting a Christmas-themed luncheon. Better Together organizes luncheon programs at various locations to bring parents together for community, to support each other, and often hear from expert speakers. The luncheon will provide background-checked volunteers in addition to lunch, games and fun for children while parents attend the event. In December, attendees will hear from local entrepreneur Rondo Fernandez, owner of The Mojo Grill. Santa Claus is escorted around Winter Springs during the week each night by the Winter Springs Police Department, so he can spread candy and joy to the children and families who come outside to wave to him. On Dec. 4, he will visit Park @ Laurel Oaks, Highlands, Seven Oaks, Wildwood, The Terraces, Sugar Creek, Mt. Greenwood, The Arbors, Hacienda Village, Deer Song, Meadowlark and The Vineyards. On Dec. 5, h will be in the neighborhoods of Ranchlands, Seville Chase, Stone Gable, Winding Hollow, Heritage Park, Tuskawilla Trails, Jesups Reserve and Parkstone. On Dec. 6, he'll go to Avery Park, Oak Forest, Arbor Glen, Tuskawilla Crossings, The Blake, Winter Springs Village, Tuskawilla Trace, St. John's Landin and Jesups Landing. The parade will travel from Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard and head south on Beach Street to Jackie Robinson Parkway, offering a showcase for local bands, festive floats and performances by community organizations. - Holiday Arts on the Halifax River

About 100 juried artists and crafters will display their works that can be purchased just in time for the holidays. Food trucks will be on site. Parking will be available in the general area, and roundtrip shuttles will run betwee Holly Hill City Hall and the park.
