Backyard Adventures at Orlando Science Center features many interactive and hands-on exhibits exploring the land and creatures of our world.

“Backyard Adventures is a great place for learning what the outdoors is like,” said Kevin Horan, Science Program Interpreter at Orlando Science Center.

The total exhibit includes an array of backyard games, including baseball pitching and mini putt putt. Horan said guests are also able to explore how plants grow and to hear the sounds of night crawlers and critters.

Bee’s Eye View lets guests fly throughout the world as a bee to see how the insects play a critical role in the outdoors. But, as you explore, Horan said the exhibit is also focused on learning where we live and realizing the critical role we play.

“It’s very important to take care of that environment and it’s up to us to make sure we keep it that way that earth is nice and pleasant,” he said.

Backyard Adventures is open at Orlando Science Center through Jan. 9, 2024.
