ORLANDO, Fla. — Next time you head to South Florida, you and your family may want to check out this high-speed and sightseeing adventure.

What You Need To Know

  • View the Miami skyline by high-speed boating
  • Visit Star Island and see the mansions of the rich and famous
  • Stay cool in Miami’s heat by traveling fast by jet boat
  • Loud music along with high speeds while sightseeing

It’s a way to see the sights and sounds of Miami, but from a much different perspective than you might think.

You and your family can board the Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventure at the Bayside Marketplace downtown.

The three boats are fast and hold nearly 80 riders at one time.

Chris Barclay, who captains one boat, says the crafts are fun because they are jet boats that allow great flexibility and safety when you go fast.

“This is probably the most exciting boat in, at least in Florida, I would say,” he said.

Barclay says Miami is best to see by water.

“Miami is definitely a water city. The best way to see it is from a boat. You get a much better perspective that way,” he said.

You will leave the Bayside Marketplace dock and cruise out to Biscayne Bay, the city of Miami Beach, Fisher Island and tour the mansions on Star Island.

You will cruise, turn fast and feel like you are flying across the water on your 45-minute excursion.

“I like seeing the look on people’s faces, especially when they get wet. All right, hold on tight.”

There is loud music, joking from the captain and a general party atmosphere aboard the Thriller Boat.

The captain will slow down the vessel and take you by the backyards of many of the rich and famous that live on Star Island.

You’ll pass by Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled, Sylvester Stallone, Jennifer Lopez, and David and Victoria Beckham’s mansions.

This former conservation researcher loves to show off the beauty of the Miami skyline.

“You got new high rises going up all the time. I believe we have seven or eight going up in Brickell right now,” he said.

The thriller Miami speedboat adventure is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

First tour departs at 10 a.m. with multiple tours all day.

Prices for adults are $43 and $33 for children 11 and under.

You can book online or by phone at 305-479-7261.
