The preschool teacher tries to make sure there is never a dull moment.

“I’m a very energetic person — high energy myself. Very loud, so it’s like I fit right in with them. These are the beginning steps of their lives, so to be a part of it is rewarding.”

“I still talk to some of them and some of the kids still come in here and they’re like, ‘Can we come and visit Ms. Christin?’ When I’m out shopping, they run up to me and they’re like, ‘Ms. Christin’ and they’re like, ‘What are you doing here?’” she said. “I love keeping in contact with everybody like some of the families and seeing where they’re at in life and some of the kids. It feels great.”
