VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Volusia County is calling on all volunteers to come to help clean the beaches. This comes after all the Independence Day celebrations, with many people leaving behind a trail of trash.

What You Need To Know

  • Any volunteer whether it be an individual or a group can come out here and help clean up the beaches after a long weekend of festivities

  • People can come out to their favorite stretch of the beach from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday

  • Trash bags are available upon request at all toll booths

  • Roving carts will canvas the area assisting with garbage collection

Any volunteer, whether it be an individual or a group, can come out here and help clean up the beaches after a long weekend of festivities.

People can come out to their favorite stretch of the beach from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday. It’s all part of the county’s mission to “Keep Volusia Beautiful.” Bring your own bucket or trash bag with grabbers or gloves.
