The issues that had plagued the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles' system that processes driver licenses and motor vehicle systems on Monday have been resolved and are working again, according to a Twitter post from the department.

IT teams from the department had been working on the system since problems arose.

No information has been provided to explain what caused the system problems.

The issues were first reported Monday morning, and updates at 10:30 a.m. and at 6:54 p.m. said that the issue was still being worked on.

The Florida DMV relies on an online system to manage appointments related to DMV business. There are systems that process check-ins, as well as systems that help people update registrations and driver's license requests.
