ORLANDO, Fla. β€” SeaWorld has announced the opening date for its Pipeline roller coaster.

The new "surfing" coaster will open to the public on May 27, with previews for pass members beginning May 12.

In a tweet, SeaWorld shared the schedule for the preview dates: Platinum level pass members can exclusively ride between May 12-15. Platinum and Gold pass members can ride between May 18-20. Platinum, Gold and Silver dates are May 21-23, and then Bronze members can preview the ride between May 24-25.

The final preview day is May 26 for all pass members and Fun Card holders.

On Pipeline, riders will be standing (instead of sitting) on surfboard-themed ride vehicles as they zip across 2,950 feet of track.

The coaster will reach speeds of up to 60 mph and heights of 110 mph. It will also feature five airtime moments and an inversion inspired by a surfing maneuver called an β€œalley-oop.”

Pipeline will be SeaWorld’s seventh coaster, joining a lineup that includes Ice Breaker, Mako and Manta.
