ST. LOUIS–Metro Transit has announced a series of service changes coming next month to MetroBus routes in both Missouri and Illinois that it says will improve on-time performance and MetroBus connections to MetroLink.

The new schedules, which apply only to MetroBus, won’t be released until Feb. 27.

The changes impact the following routes

#32 Dr ML King

#40 N. Broadway

#41 Lee

#57 Manchester

#91 Olive

#94 Page 

#97 Delmar 

The changes on the Grand and Carondolet lines will also mean less frequency on weekdays.

Illinois

The adjustments on the Illinois side will mean the following route changes as well, according to MetroTransit:

#2 Cahokia Heights | New Route Map: Route and schedule adjustments; increasing to 20-minute frequency from 30-minute frequency, while expanding service reach to now include Cahokia High School, School District 187 Administration Offices, Jerome Lane and Paris Street.

#3 Sauget | New Route Map: New MetroBus route providing all-day service to Sauget Industrial Park from the 5th & Missouri Transit Center.

#6 Rosemont | New Route Map: Route and schedule adjustments; route extended to Fairview Heights Transit Center, replacing service provided by the #13 Caseyville-Marybelle.

#8 Alta Sita | New Route Map: Route and schedule adjustments; increasing to 20-minute frequency from 30-minute frequency, while expanding service to reach Walmart, Schnucks and other stores in Cahokia Heights. Will no longer serve Church and 50th Street, this area now served by SCCTD Flyer.

#9 Washington Park | New Route Map: Route and schedule adjustments; route extended to include Washington Park Transit Center and areas of Kingshighway from James Avant Elementary School to Archview MX Park, Gateway Co-Packing, Twin Lake Trucking. Will no longer serve 62nd and Forest.

#13 Caseyville-Marybelle | New Route Map: Route and schedule adjustments; expanded service hours from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., providing service between Fairview Heights Transit Center and Madison County Transit’s Collinsville Transit Center. Will no longer operate between Washington Park Transit Center and Flying J Truck Stop, this area now served by SCCTD Flyer.
