SANFORD, Fla. – Five people remain hospitalized following a deadly shooting early Monday morning along a busy road in Sanford.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office identified the person who died as Princess Tolliver, 31, of Tallahassee.
The shooting involving at least two cars happened around 2:20 Monday morning by County Road 46A and Rinehart Road, according to the sheriff’s office.
Tolliver was in a transport van with the five shooting survivors, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office released Tuesday. Authorities recovered a car believed to be involved in the incident Monday afternoon.
It’s been a concerning time,for Lisa Greenberg as her apartment faces the street where someone shot at a transport van.
"I just heard a lot of popping," said Greenberg. "This was very close. And this is a very good area so it was king of shocking to hear [the gunfire] it."
Authorities would not elaborate whether it was a drive-by shooting or a shootout between cars, only stating they believe the shooting wasn’t random. They would not say whether they have identified a suspect or suspects.
Authorities did mention they’re aware of an event from Sunday night – at a concert venue about 15 minutes down the road. They wouldn’t say whether that’s connected to the shooting – pointing to the ongoing investigation.
