CASSELBERRY, Fla. — A 72-year-old woman and a dog were both found dead after a residential fire that happened overnight in Casselberry, Seminole County Fire Department said.
First responders got a call about a house fire off of Center Drive that was 75% involved early Sunday morning.
Intital reports show that the 72-year-old woman was reported dead on-scene and the dog was missing. The fire department found the dog also dead in the home hours later.
One other adult and one minor were able to escape the house.
Officials said the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
