ORLANDO, Fla. — The Broadway show "Hamilton" is making a return to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in the fall, and tickets went on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.

Performances will be held at the Walt Disney Theater from Oct. 26 through Nov. 20, with varied show times depending on the date at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. ET.

The production tells the story of America's revolution through the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton and features a score created by Lin-Manuel Miranda that blends hip-hop, jazz and rhythm and blues.

The show created a ticket frenzy the last time it came to Orlando in 2019. Officials with the Dr. Phillips Center urge patrons to buy their tickets through them, saying the theater is the only authorized ticket seller for "Hamilton" tickets in Orlando. Tickets purchased from other sources cannot be guaranteed, they said.

The best option for buying tickets will be online at drphillipscenter.org/hamilton, they said. Tickets will also be sold by phone at 407-358-6603 and through the Bill & Mary Darden box office.

People buying their tickets online are urged to sign up or confirm their Dr. Phillips Center account before trying to get in the wait line for tickets.

Log into your drphillipscenter.org account starting at 10 a.m., and click the “Get Tickets” button to hold your place in line. If you’re on the "Hamilton" web page before 10 a.m., you’ll need to refresh the page in order to access the “Get Tickets” button.

Your place in line is secure as long as you stay online, officials said. Only use one web browser or tab because using multiple browsers could make you look like a “ticket bot,” which could cause you to be kicked out of the ticket-buying process, officials warned.
