BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Space Coast is "powering up" this weekend with two big events.
The Space Coast Air Show takes flight Saturday at the airport in Titusville.

Today, the F-22 Raptor Demo Team ran through it's act for the show. Tomorrow, eight more aerial performers will be in the sky for the thousands of patrons on the ground.
One of them is Lt. Kelsey Daucher of the Growler Legacy Team who is a proud Florida Tech Aviation graduate.
"It's nice to perform in front of a community that helped raise me through my college years and make me the aviator that I am," Daucher said.
More than thirty aircrafts will be on display during the airshow.
The 2019 event had nearly 100,000 visitors and brought a $14 million economic impact to Brevard County.
The second big event this weekend is the Thunder on Cocoa Beach, featuring over 50 speedboats competing along the seven mile course off the coast.
"It gives so many more people the chance to view these spectacular boats flying at 150 mph," Nigel Hook of the Lucas Oil Team said.
Spectrum News was there as the traditional boat parade made it's way from Port Canaveral down to the venue in Cocoa Beach.
The race is in it's 12th year and brought in more than 25,000 people last year, delivering a $52 million economic impact.
