The judge found probable cause, ordering Jean Macean, 32, be held without bond. Macean is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of being an illegal immigrant or alien.
U.S. Marshals found Macean in Orlando last week, days after the murders of Brenda and Terry Aultman. The husband and wife were found stabbed to death a little before 2 a.m. March 6, on the grass next to the sidewalk by the intersection of North Wild Olive Avenue and Riverview Boulevard.
Neighbor and friend Orlando Sequerra says he’s relieved police arrested the suspect. “I feel more secure, knowing that a monster like that is already in jail,” he said. “Because to me, somebody that kills in that way is a monster.”
Macean is due back in court April 5.
