Seminole County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the state law enforcement spent much of the weekend searching for a woman considered armed and dangerous along with her two kids.

Around 1:30 a.m. Monday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) canceled the missing child alert, saying the two children are safe.

Investigators said around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, their mother 32-year-old Di'Last Kellie got into a fight with her ex-husband, stabbed him in the chest, and took the children and left.

The sheriff's office said the stabbing happened at the Colonial Grand at Lake Mary, an apartment complex off International Parkway.

Kellie's ex-husband is in a local hospital in critical condition.
