ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A former state senator is paying it forward to the very same hospital that helped him get back on his feet after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Ted O’Brien and his wife, Sue, delivered iPads to Rochester General Hospital for patients to communicate with families when visitation is limited.

O’Brien was diagnosed with COVID back in March 2020. He lost nearly 30 pounds and was put on a ventilator during his stay.

O’Brien used the money raised for him during his battle to purchase the iPads.
