ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney Cruise Line revealed last week a slew of details about its upcoming Disney Wish cruise ship, including that the ship will feature Disney’s first attraction at sea: the AquaMouse.

The new attraction will be a water ride that takes riders through an original story called “Scuba Scramble,” which is set in the world of a Mickey Mouse cartoon short. AquaMouse will also feature special effects and other surprises, Disney said previously.
Well Disney has released more footage, providing a behind-the-scenes peek at the attraction. In a video shared Thursday, Disney Imagineers can be seen working on the attraction. The video also shows the tube that riders will zip through as they pass the show scenes.
“This is at the level of what you’d find at our theme parks—storytelling, getting wet, going fast,” said Laura Cabo, with Walt Disney Imagineering. “The overall experience is just going to hit all the senses.”
In addition to AquaMouse, the Disney Wish will feature a variety of amenities, including activities and spaces just for kids and teens, more pools, and new dining options such as a Marvel-themed dining experience and an adults-only Star Wars bar.
Disney Wish will set off on its maiden voyage in summer 2022.
