ORLANDO, Fla. – This New Year's Eve is arguably one of the most anticipated since Y2K. So, to ring in 2021, we've discovered the unexpected in downtown Orlando.
1. Located upstairs above Magnolia bar in downtown Orlando is Beau Monde (or “Beautiful World”). It's an intimate space unlike any in town, with a beloved bougee feel and a sexy theme, thanks to wall art by Ali Savet. “[There's] a sense of sensuality to it, a lot of femininity to it, [and] that was the central theme,” he told us, via a virtual interview from L.A.
2. Amanda and Kameron Kaviani own the space. “We tried to think of all the places that we loved and that we traveled to,” Amanda said. “The lounges, the restaurants, the clubs.”
3. “We could all use escape, right?” Savet added. “Creating that space of belonging; completely immersed in this energy of love.
4. Beau Monde is open Fridays and Saturdays starting at 8:30 p.m.
5. New Year's Eve falls on a Thursday this year, so it will be open with all-inclusive options. Tickets are $99, which includes live entertainment, small bites, champagne toast at midnight, and $25 bar tab.
