ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Gideon’s Bakehouse has a new shop at Disney Springs, and the location has soft opened.

“Please come and help us refine our craft, get to know our new ovens, gain speed when making your Peanut Butter Cold Brew, and get cozy in our hauntingly new space,” the bakery posted on Facebook.

The popular bakery is known for its nearly half-pound, handmade cookies as well as other sweet treats. Some of the items that will be on the menu at the Disney Springs location include triple chocolate cookies, peanut butter crunch cookies, cookies & cream cookies and the original chocolate chip cookies.

Located just across from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, the Gideon’s Bakehouse shop is themed to look like an old bookstore.

Gideon’s Bakehouse said it plans to have an official grand opening for its Disney Springs location next year.

“The ‘official’ grand opening will happen in the New Year when all of our beautifully branded new Gideon’s boxes and cups arrive and we iron the kinks,” the Facebook post said. “Keep your eye out because you won’t want to miss it!”

Gideon’s Bakehouse also has a location in Orlando at the East End Market off Corrine Drive.
