What You Need To Know

- She's making bracelets for fire resue and dispatchers
- So far, she's given out 200 bracelets
During the quarantine Lisa Bruckner has been making “Back the Blue” bracelets, and officers think that makes her a hero in their book.
Bruckner has given out 200 bracelets so far. And Bruckner said she’s not stopping at blue. She is making red bracelets for Fire Rescue/EMT and yellow ones for dispatchers. She won’t stop till the entire town is covered in beads, she said.
Bruckner believes first responders need the support now more than ever.
“There's bad and good in everything whether it be doctors and lawyers and judges and teachers…just everybody,” Bruckner said. “There's bad and good in all of it. And I just wanted to try and get it out there, even more so, that there is more good than there is bad.”
Bruckner was inspired to make the jewelry by her son who is a sergeant for the City of Sebastian.
