ORLANDO, Fla. — Floridians staying home because of coronavirus can take comfort in this fact: air pollution is down significantly across the state.

NASA released data that showed nitrogen dioxide levels was about 30 percent lower from March 15 to April 15 across the state than it was compared to any year during this same period since 2005.

The data is similar to what's been found in other parts of the country, and in China.

The NO2 levels are about 30 to 35 percent lower over Orlando and Miami, and about 40 percent lower over Jacksonville.
