NATIONWIDE – Cirque du Soleil is giving fans around the world a rare chance to see “Zed,” a show that was created exclusively for Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan.

  • Cirque du Soleil to stream "Zed"
  • The show was created just for Tokyo Disney Resort
  • The stream marks the first time the recorded footage will be seen by fans

The entertainment company will stream a professional recording of the show April 17 at 8 p.m. ET on its YouTube channel.

The 60-minute presentation is part of its Cirque’s weekly Cirque Connect presentations, which includes streams from other shows such as Luzia, Alegria, Volta and more.

Zed ran from 2008 to December 31, 2011. This will be the first time recorded footage will seen by fans.

In addition to Zed, Cirque du Soleil has created other shows exclusively for Disney. La Nouba ran for nearly 20 years in the custom-built theater at Disney Springs before closing in 2017. The newest show, Drawn to Life, was set to debut this spring but had to be suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic.
