DAYTONA, Fla. – The big race in Daytona Beach is fast approaching. Many fans already have their tickets.

• The big race takes place this weekend

“Ready for some real racing to kick off the season,” race fan Chad Hicks said.

Hicks came down from Georgia and has his RV all decked out.

“This is the living room area, this is the TV, watching the qualifying usually, master bedroom up there, full shower, the island here, and the big fridge with the refreshments,” Hicks said.

Hicks also has a patio on the outside.

But the most important thing is his ticket.

“Rocking the hot pass. The pass you want to get. The best pass on the track. It gives access to garage and pits while they are practicing or the race when they are making pit spots in the race,” Hicks said.

Whether they'll be watching the race in the grandstand or in the infield, everyone said they are ready for a good time.
