"We hope our $1 million donation will provide much-needed relief and help our neighbors, colleagues, and all those impacted by this devastating storm begin the long process of recovery as they work to put their lives and communities back together," Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a statement.
The money Disney donates will also go to relief agencies who will help with rebuilding efforts in the affected areas.
Disney also operates a private island in the Bahamas called Castaway Cay. Employees from Abaco and Grand Bahama, the hardest hit areas, will also have access to resources, Disney said.
"As the needs in these communities are assessed, we are preparted to aid the relief and recovery efforts through funding, the provision of supplies and by providing support to our Bahamian Crew Members," Disney Cruise Line president Jeff Vahle said in a statement.
In the past, Disney has donated to relief and recovery efforts related to Hurricane Irma in 2017 and Hurricane Michael in 2018, both of which hit Florida.
