ORLANDO, Fla. — There's a new Vegas-style show in Orlando, and the all-female cast isn't afraid to put you on the spot.
Here are five things you should know about Cherry Bomb Burlesque at the Orlando Forum:
- Cherry Bomb Burlesque is a live stage show blending satire, sensuality, parody, and performance art. It’s a Vegas-style production now playing in Orlando.
- Each member of the all-female cast has a unique and empowering persona. FeFe, for instance, rocks some serious physical comedy. She’s French, smokes a lot, and is disgruntled. She’s like the “glue” that binds the rest of the girls together.
- Audience members are not safe from getting called up on stage to “shimmy.” Just sayin’.
- Married director and choreographer duo Kelly and David Greenhouse also choreograph Rock Hard Revue and parts of Universal’s Holiday Parade, Marilyn and the Diamond Bellas, Blues Brothers, and more.
- The next show is Wednesday, June 26 at 9 p.m. at the Orlando Forum. Tickets range from $15-35.
