We saw a few heavy pockets of rain overnight but overall today we will get a break from heavy, widespread rain. This afternoon we will see pop up showers and storms. 

It will be humid all week with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s with temperatures getting a boost into the weekend into the upper 80s south.

A more powerful storm system will move in Wednesday into Thursday with more widespread heavy rain and possibly some severe storms.  Friday will be our only break from the rain with mostly sunny skies.  Over the weekend we will see more scattered showers and storms.
