- Important Documents: Store important documents like deeds and insurance policies in a waterproof container. You may also want to consider storing documents on an external drive or storage website.
- Cash: Bring cash in case ATMs are down.
- Local maps: Bring a local map in case the internet and GPS are down.
- Radio: Bring a radio powered with batteries or a hand crank.
- Matches: Store them in a waterproof container.
- Generator: Also bring gas for the generator.
