"I've been doing this a long time," Buffett told the crowd Tuesday evening. "This is the guitar's first one."
The 72-year-old singer then performed some of his hit songs, including "Volcano," "Margaritaville" and "Pencil Thin Mustache."
Buffett's appearance comes a couple weeks after the hotel's grand opening ceremony.
The 184-room hotel is part of the larger Margaritaville Resort Orlando complex, which is located just off U.S. 192. In addition to the hotel, the $800-million complex includes hundreds of cottages, a dining and entertainment district called Sunset Walk, and a water park set to open in the spring.
