TAMPA, Fla. — Food, fun, music ... and did we say food?

The 2019 Florida State Fair is under way at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

This year's installment runs from February 7-18 and features acres of entertainment, the largest Midway of rides and games in the United States and enough smiles for everyone!

The Florida State Fair will have all day entertainment including Lady Houdini, All-Star Stunt Dogs, the Bello Nock Super Stunt Show, the Budweiser Clydesdales, Circus Hollywood, Demolition, Hollywood Racing Pigs and more.

Promotions include Heroes day on February 7 when military and emergency responders receive free admission, "$2 Tuesday after 2 p.m." on February 12 and Fair Cares for the Hungry Day on February 18. | More Fair daily promotions

As the first State Fair of the year, the Florida State Fair is the first to debut new and unique fair food such as the Cuban Pizza, Deep Fried Cookie Dough, Buffaloaded Quesadilla and so much more. See the photo gallery at the top of this story for more of the unique foods being offered.

The Florida State Fair, first held in Tampa in 1904, has become one of the largest events in the state, attracting more than 500,000 people during its 12-day run.
