Wearing Santa hats, deputies rang bells outside the Town Park Publix on East Colonial Drive in hopes of bringing in last-minute donations for the Salvation Army.
"It doesn't matter if you're giving a penny or $100, anything will help," deputy Cedric Broomfield.
The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Drive hopes to collect $325,000 this holiday season.
