Storm activity increased into the afternoon as daytime heating and sea breeze collisions fueled scattered storms west of I-4.

Some of these storms brought frequent lightning, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds. Once the sun sets, storm activity will slowly diminish with overnight lows in the mid-70s.

The warmth will continue into Tuesday with highs in the low 90s. Rain chances will slowly increase allowing more coverage of storms for the rest of the week.

The rain chances stick around for Wednesday as moisture continues to settle into our atmosphere. The highs will remain warm in the low 90s.

Thursday will be a copy and paste of Wednesday with high temps staying in the low 90s. The rain chances remain high at 60 percent.

The high temps will stay close to seasonable average on Friday and rain chances remain at 60 percent with moisture sticking around. The low 90s will continue to persist into the weekend as rain chances remain at 50 percent.
