ORLANDO, Fla. -- A standoff situation that lasted for several hours Tuesday started with a report of an acid bomb explosion.

- 2 people inside the home will face charges
Orange County Sheriff's Office officials said deputies went to the home on Beach Boulevard near the Baldwin Park area of the county Tuesday morning to investigate the acid bomb reports, which came in around 9:30 a.m.
Deputies say the people inside the home were not immediately cooperative, with 57-year-old Bruce Steffenhagen surrendering around 1:15 p.m., and 37-year-old Nathan Martin -- who initially barricaded himself inside the home -- coming out around 3 p.m.
Authorities then found out there were four more people inside the home after Martin gave himself up. Two men came out of the home at two separate times, and a couple had allegedly refused to come out until 5:40 p.m.
Steffenhagen and Martin will face several charges associated with the acid bomb. The four other individuals inside the home were questioned and then released.
SWAT and an FBI Bomb Technician was on scene to clear the home.
Neighbors in the area say they were nervous, but not surprised.
"This street there can be active, down by that green house, stuff going on," said Jan Hart. "The police are over this way quite a bit."
Investigators went back into the home to make sure there are no explosive devices.
They do not believe there is any threat to the community, nor was it terrorism-related.
