Florida Poly was established in 2012 to advance the state’s economy.
It offers more than 31 programs of study for about 1,600 students and is the only state university in Florida dedicated exclusively to STEM education.
This fall marked the university’s 10th year of offering classes. Over the last decade, it has earned important accreditations, national recognitions, impressive grants, and growing support.
At this critical milestone, we examine the institution’s key contributions, impact on Central Florida’s workforce and economy, and what is next for Florida’s budding new public university.
