FRUITLAND PARK, Fla. — A Lake County teacher is being called a hero for saving a student.

Fruitland Park Elementary School fifth grader Jordan Strauss started choking on some cheese at lunch.

Teacher assistant Sherry Jutkofsky raced into action, using the Heimlich maneuver.

Strauss is doing fine now and says he is thankful to the woman he calls "Mrs. J."
