“We take food seriously,” said Jason Eksterowicz, senior executive chef at the ballpark. “The guys on the field take what they do seriously. We are just as serious in the stands.”

Citi Field was just given the distinction of having the best ballpark food in the country, according to USA Today, for the third straight year.

Eksterowicz said Citi Field now has a “bit of a dynasty” growing. And the toughest part now is how to elevate from the year prior.

Among the new items is a curried chicken patty from Chef Kwame’s Patty Palace of "Top Chef" fame.

And from the team behind last year’s viral rainbow cookie egg roll comes new twists on the Asian food classic. Wok N' Roll's chef, Chris Huang, said they’ll have a chicken parm with vodka sauce version and a cinnamon bun egg roll.

But Mets fans are, of course, not the only ones to score with new dishes.

In addition to the classic Dodger Dog, Dodgers fans are getting new treats, as well, including the Home Run Platter. It’s chicken teriyaki skewers, vegetable egg rolls, pot stickers and vegetable tempura.

The newly renamed Daikin Park, home of the Houston Astros, is hoping its new chicken and waffle sandwich is out of this world.

And in St. Louis, Cardinals fans are getting a little “something trendy,” said Busch Stadium executive sous chef Norman Taylor Jr: Crumbl cookies will make its first foray into a ballpark this season at Busch Stadium.

Milwaukee is brewing up something new, as well — the chicken cordon “brew,” which consists of a fried chicken breast, shaved ham, Swiss cheese, beer butter onions and brown mustard on a potato bun.

And since Kansas City is known for barbecue, Joe’s Bar-B-Que is up to bat with its famous “Z-man sandwich.” It’s beef brisket and smoked provolone, topped with two crispy onion rings on a toasted Kaiser roll.
